Gift for one of my oldest friends. She had her first baby on Friday. Her nursery theme is pastels and owls, so I whipped this up for her :) Played with “inking” using the markers.

Prize for ! Her character Kid enjoying a big hunk of HAM. It is delicious yesss. I am happy to have the opportunity to render the spatula of an aspiring Frylord

Here have some in progress work! Because I am too exhausted to continue tonight. XD I have been working full-time and while I would like to believe it is equivalent to work + school, I’ve been getting rather tired around this time every night since I started… I guess that means I’m getting old??

Anyway, I’m going to down this Red Bull and try to work on my comic some more. I just got to the climax of the story so I’m really stoked to keep going.

Another crack at Raul! Think this looks a lot more like him. Might have overdone it on the facial fluff but oh wells! I just can’t give him a very long muzzle, it doesn’t suit him at all.

In other news, got CS5.5 installed on this old bastard. It’s the newest thing this poor computer can handle… He’s not long for this world, but he’s served me well for five years now…

Well I don’t like this one as much… Redesigning Raul hardcore so he’s still in an awkward puberty phase. But Kim asked for him (I think) and here he is <3 Rowdy~!

Halfway done with the pencils for this comic. I am officially farther than I’ve ever gotten before, and I’ve only been working on it for a week or maybe a little more… Excited.

My first editorial illo of the summer! We aren’t doing assignments or anything now, so I just illustrate whatever someone remembers to send me. This week all three of the writers talked about President Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage, haha! Pretty much everyone expressed cautious optimism (except the right-wing guy, of course).

I never claimed to be a skilled caricaturist. But I tried my best XD

Just a little test doodle I did~ Working on FreeLance again (though I’ll probably have to give it another name… hmmm) and I wanted to see how non photo blue played with grey Copics. Pretty well! That’ll save me some time since I won’t have to use pencils and then erase them :0 Pretty stoked! I’m about 60% done with the pencils on the first issue. Just gotta ink and tone them… and letter them…

My last Micron died :( So I’m using this “permanent” fineliner that does not play well with the markers. Hopefully I’ll have the time/money to buy some new microns in the future… *sob*

A little doodle I did for http://cthuluvillage.tumblr.com because she is a great person and I lurve her face. I don’t know much at all about Hetalia but I was pretty sure he was her fave character so I totes drew her a chibi aww yeah.

Commission for http://cthuluvillage.tumblr.com of her character Khalil as a youngin’. When he was in training and was all badass and stuff. Though I still see Khalil as adorably good-natured so I drew him that way. All the badass poses I tried look weird to me! (He will still probably kick your ass though stay away from him probably)

Commission for one of my best customers, Mary C.! She is a huge fan of Queen, Freddie Mercury and Rockman, so the three went together quite naturally here ;) Galaxy Man, a newcomer, is trying to emulate Starman’s rockin’ness.

I got to draw SPACE which makes me super happy
